If you think about your future and your role as a mother, what would you like to be acknowledged for? Caring for babies and children is vital for future generations. Both mothers and fathers have a great role to play here, each in their own way. I have read other blogs in which some women have trouble accepting motherhood. They think it will deprive them from their "position" in a world where financial income and status have become dominant values.
